Okay I got it to post out A- axis cords. There is a error message ..variable not defined post line 444 . I did add to the axis out put formats linear line attached is a taxt version of the post thanks for your help .

Thanks I did not see that ....Now the error is ..Post block cannot be forced with * or ! post line 652....? how are the lines numbered...?Okay changed that now it says variable not defined post block line 449 thank to all who have helped me thaks to Master cam for adding this Forum...thanks

I'm not seeing anything up with that line or any near it.....

The line #'s are just the number of lines from the top of the file

Can you post the entire error line in question, it should look something like this.

 

PST LINE (1538,1538) - Label has not been defined[13]

 

The [13], tells you the column of the "undefined variable". (Column 13 in this example.)

I think the problem with line 449 is the "ah". This is not a Mastercam pre-defined variable and therefore needs to be initialized or calculated. Also, you cannont force out a postblock, you can only force out variables or strings. Normally we will use two different postblocks for this type of situation and call the desired one:

 

Eg:

n, *sgcode, pabs, pwcs, *xabs, *yabs, pfaout, *speed, *spdlon, prange, pcan, e

 

Instead of:

n, *sgcode, pabs, pwcs, *xabs, *yabs, *paout, *speed, *spdlon, prange, pcan, e

 

 

Then have:

paout # Calculate Output variables (Output only if it changes)

aabs

!xs, !aabs

 

pfaout # Calculate Output variables (Force output)

*aabs

!xs, !aabs
