HASS Renishaw TS-27R tool length probing routines

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to add the broken tool macro to my output code, but I haven't been able to find the information on what the callouts mean.

Broken tool is G65 P9853 B1. T1. H0.2

What does the B1. stand for?

Also if I could see a example of how someone uses it in a actual program that would be great.

Thanks

Chris

That does not look like a broken tool check routine. I may be completely wrong because I don't have a Haas, but that looks more like tool length setting macro.

B1. Set the length of the tool.

B2. Measure the radius/diameter of the tool.

B3. Measure the length and the radius/diameter of the tool.

Sample....

I have good documetation for the spindle probe (Inspection Plus), but nothing for the tool setter. Let me know if you find anything.

Here you go. This is for an NC4 Laser which for the most part should do.
