X5 MU1 HSM operations copy errors

I do alot of HSM and always have copied operations and then fill needed information as I go. Now if you do that Z level clearances do not carry over.

 

Example: Do a HSM core roughing operation fill in the needed information. Once you like what you see copy that operation then change to waterline fill out the nessacary information stepdown, steep/shallow etc. Re-generate and the linking parameters from previous operations do not carry over to waterline operation. It does not retract instead it follows the surface with no clearnace at all. It will not retract at all. I have had this happen several times now.

 

I did this all day long with X5. But in X5 MU1 I just start a new operation every time now.

 

Is this a bug or am I missing something here. Anybody else experience this?

Why don't you export all operations from previous program that have all setting that you like to mill operations? Just import them in on next program.

I'm in the protoype buisness and no 2 parts are alike. I tried saving operations but found myself doing alot of editing to get results I needed.
