hello all.....i am modifying a haas toolroom lathe post for a customer. they have a 8 station turret on this machine and need to call a sub program to change tools. i have set this up once before, but today and i am drawing a complete blank as to what i did.

 

what i need:

G00 G54 T101

M98 P90001 - P value needs to match called up tool number

G50 S1100

G96 S250 M03

 

 

 

 

what i get now:

 

N101 T0101

M98 T0101

G50 S3600

G97 S153 M03

G96 S200

 

 

what i have done to the post:

toolno = p$ * 9000

pbld, n$, "M98", *toolno, e$

]

 

using the mplmaster for this.

 

any thoughts?

toolno is probably formatted w/ a "T".

 

try setting another variable = toolno and formatting it w/ a "P"

this is what establishes the T on the first line:

 

toolno = t$ * 100 + tloffno$
