Quadro 600

Hi!

 

We are the Mastercam distributor in Sweden and we have a client that have problem with his new computer.

He runs Win7 64bit with Quadro600 and he has a lot of graphic "flickering". For example when he uses Zoom Window the frame is flickering, also the arrow is flickering when creating "curves on one surface edge". The problems is gone if he sets Mastercam to use GDI, but this should not be necessary with this card.

Have any one else seen this problem and do you have a solution for it. (He has the latest drivers installed)

Set it back to OpenGL, have him right click on the launching icon and click disable desktop composition

 

 

 

All Windows 7 users do not have to do this but some do.

 

I am not sure of the why.

 

neither system that I run do I have to disable it and FX1800 and GeForce 8800GTS

but I have customers that do need to disable.

Worked on one computer (Vista and FX1800) but not on a brand new DELL with Win7 and Quadro600.

Any more ideas what we can try?

maybe this thread will help

 

 

also.. the first thing I do to Dell workstations is uninstall the dell video drivers and replace

 

them with Nvidia drivers. I don't know why, but I always have trouble with Dell drivers, especially

when running dual screens
