Stock Define Not Working

Hey Guys,

I am running Mcam X5 Lathe. When I try to define stock as a revolve, I create a chain, then I click ok. It shows I have succesfuly defined it, however, when I click ok and exit the stock disappears. When I go back in, I have to re-define it again. Is there somoething in the Config. file I am missing? Can anyone help? Or do I need to contact my reseller. Just wondering if there is a quick fix.

Does it show up in verify? Have you tried the shade boundries feature. It works for me, though I'm using X5 MU1 .

I have seen this already and it's weird.

Are you using lathe entry or a lathe level 1 module?

I've seen this happen on lathe entry but not on lathe level 1.

I refered it to CNC Software already and IIRC they logged it as defect.

Not sure if it will make a difference, but I always have my chain drawn before I go to define the stock. When I click the button to "Select Geo", I just pick the chain (drawn in advance).

My whole Mastercam system took a dump. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the software. So far the problem is fixed. If it happens again I will send a note to Mastercam.
