mill stock display

Is it possible to change the transparency of the displayed stock.

I am using the solid display option.

I am using an STL as my stock and would like to adjust how "solid" the part looks.

(I am only using this for pictures in my setup sheets at dif. steps in my process)

I can save my STL as an mcx file and import them into my main file, but that is to combersome to use on a regular basis.

Yes, look in the solids display options. Works with the stock set-up options as well.

I am doing this in Mill.

I do not see any option to change transparency.

I see it in lathe ,but not mill.
