hello,

just curious as to running the set up sheet out off op manager.my file is 124meg i tried to do the set up sheet and had to esc after letting it run for over 20 min. i normally just create a doc file and print it out to give to the set up person, but thought i would try something different. i am using mill level 3 ver 9.1. my box has a pent 3 2.5 gig with 1.5gig of ram.am i doing something wrong or does this option always take a long time to spit out the info?

any help is appreciated

Do you have the fastmode switch on in the .set file? If not, turn it on. If you don't have it, put it in. (I've seen a couple posts that don't have the switch in them.)

code:

  # --------------------------------------------------------------------------

# Debugging and Factory Set Program Switches

# --------------------------------------------------------------------------

fastmode : no #Posting speed optimizition

rick,

you are correct my freind biggrin.gif i just wasted 45 minites of my friday posting out a bad code mad.gif

i switched the "1" to a "0" and bad things happened now i'm back to the old post waiting some more. the issue with long times to run the set-up sheet still exists.

rekd thanks for the stab at it,i'll have to keep searching.

next time i mod my post i'll try a smaller program wink.gif the one i just ran is 189meg. my fault.

still looking for more suggestions on the set-up issue.

thanks all,

trevor
