lead in/out with line-angle and no radius

Sometimes I need lead in/out with line at an angle and no arc sweep in between contour and entry-exit line.

Presently if I set arc radius to 0, sweep angle is ignored and considered 0 also. (or 90 deg if line is set to perpendicular)

To achieve needed results I have to add geometry for entry/exit mooves.

I would like to be able to use sweep angle with 0 arc radius to set entry line slope.

Try setting the arc radius to .001" then set your sweep angle the post will convert the small arc into a linear move. Should do what you want.

How does the post know to ignore arcs less than .001?

The post knows to convert small rads to linear based on some settings in the post.

arccheck : 1 #Check for small arcs, convert to linear

ltol : .002 #Length tolerance for arccheck = 1

With arccheck set to 1 if the circumfrence of the arc is less than .002" it would linearize it.

That little line would still give cc errors at the machine just like if it was an arc.
