Fadal Fixture Offset

Recommended Posts

Has anyone added Fixture Offsets at the end of a Fadal 88VMC program. The manual says to add FO #,X,Y,Z after the M30 but before the % sign. Tried it but error occured after control read the first FO line. The program uses subprograms so we tried adding FO lines after the last subprogram but got the error at the same place.

If anyone has any insigt it would be appreciated.

How I remember it:

N1 #FX1 = 0.000

N2 #FY1 = 0.000

N3 #FZ1 = 0.000

N4 #FX2 = 0.000

N5 #FY2 = 0.000

N6 #FZ2 = 0.000

etc.

And they should be ok anywhere in the program.

I can double check some old programs when I get home if you don't get it by then.

I tried your suggestion and the program transfered without an error. When I looked at the fixture offset table the values weren't there. I'm guessing they didn't get written into the table.

Been a while for me too, but.......here's what I remember. I always put them at the start of the program right after the %

#E1X=0.0000

#E1Y=0.0000

#E1Z=0.0000

And for my inserted tooling (tools that I knew would be the same length)

#T1L=-26.3236 (1-1/4" SECO PLUNGE DRILL)

#T1D=1.25

etc.

And the code to send it all back was PU,3
