update V9 post

Hi,

How can I update my V9 post to X5? I tried it last year for X4, but some how it didn't work. Do I need to do some changes in new control and machine def. that my update creates?

run it through the update post dll.

 

There might be some issue you have to clean up.

 

The posting language has been tightened up and somethings that previously were "ok" in a post but technically wrong, worked.

 

So there may be some shoddy logic that needs fixing.

When I started at this shop they had all V9 posts.... tried the updating thing, even had my reseller try to help.... Ended up starting with fresh MPmaster posts for mill & lathe. Glad I went the route I did, nice & clean and I know exactly what I have to work with.
