Select solid as stock

Sup people. As my topic description says, now all of a sudden my stock doesn't sit in line with the solid I selected. My stock is at Z0 and is a square. I extruded the solid down .625, went into my stock setup, under shape, I chose solid, clicked the selection tool and picked the solid I just made. When I show shaded stock, it sits up a random amount above Z0. I've done it this way SO many times, it's driving me nuts. What say you?

Top. I have always used top to carry my stock(stl) thru each op

i have not seen that and i use solid STK all the time

you try re-start MC sounds like its stuck at that point
