Xform move to origin

Hi, guys!

 

I am trying to move my geometry from point to origin by Xform and the geometry is moving to some unreasonable point.

Please help me resolve this problem.

When you click move to origin, you then ONLY pick the point you want at the origin.

 

There is only 1 click needed in that function

I was doing as you exactly sad and it dose not work. By the way I use X6.

I used this function before with out any problem but now... If, you do not mind i will attach my file.

There's no part in your z2g. You have to save your file before making the z2g

Xform/translate/all entities/between points/select reference point on geometry/ select origin

 

Depending on whether you are in 2D or 3D may result in different results. If you geometry is not at "z zero" and you are in 3D mode, your reference point of your geometry will move to "z zero".

Dynamic Xform also does this nicely. Select the geo you want to move, choose dynamic xform, place the gnome at the point you want to move to the orgin, then there is a button right in the middle of the ribbon bar "move to orgin".
