color change in a surface

Hello!

 

I have a problem with color change in a surface. I have a part file which is a surface.

I like to have 2 colors on the surface. One color on top surface represents a punch surface and the other color on bottom surface represents a die surface. Can you please help me how to change 2 colors in a single surface, Top and Bottom surface? Thanks for help.

Is this a solid part? To have 2 different colors, it needs to be two different surfaces. If it's a solid, it can only be one color because it is one entity. If solid, you can have solid face one color, and solid edge another color. Screen/configure/screen tab/system colors

DH, if you go to screen surf display back color,you can change the back color of the surface to what ever you want it to be, you then can modify the surf normal to change what side of the surface you will be cutting. hope this helps.
