To much code when ramping or Helix

I am trying to have less posted code when doing a helix or ramp down 7 inches deep. Every option I have changed in the control arc page doesnt change the posted code. it stills posts xyz moves every few thou movements. Anything else I can do. I am ramping at 2 degrees and the machine can not keep up with the code and jerks to much. Thanks

When you are doing a contour ramp, on the cut parameters page there is a checkbox for linearise helixes. Make sure this is unchecked. This should fix your problem!

Ok thanks. I also got it to work if you use helical bore instead of contour ramp.

No worries. Helix bore is a pretty efficient little toolpath for doing holes. I use both contour ramp and helix bore quite a lot in my work here. 2 very basic toolpaths, but very efficient!
