Lathe Backplot

Looking for a possible solution for this.

I'm trying to get some accurate cycle times using the backplot-info for lathe. Its showing more than double than what we feel it should be.

I'm thinking its not calculating for constant surface feet. I'm not sure if there's a fix or a work around to get a fairly accurate cycle time.

We have Cimco for an editor and I don't think that calculates for lathe accurately either...possibly for the same reason.

Are your toolpaths programmed for CSS?

Machine feedrate & rapid rates (machine def) are the only other things I can think of that would effect the time..

Yes...the feed rates are CSS. I'll check the machine def out.
