Manual Entry

Good morning everyone,

 

I am having a problem placing the manual entry toolpath in my programs. Is there a reason it posts between the tool comment and operation comment? i would like to see it post before or after, instead of in between.

 

(TOOL - 1 - 80 DEG ROUGH TURN AND FACE - OFFSET - 1 - INSERT - CNMG 543 - HOLDER - DCLNR-205D)

If anyone knows what describes or controls the output of manual entry i could take it from there...

You will need to move the block of code for manual entry to get it to post out in the desired area in your nc code.In my post its called # Tool Comment / Manual Entry Section

You might have comment$ AFTER the ptoolcomment postblock, this is how my post looks:

     pcan
     pbld, n$, *t$, sm06, ptoolcomment, e$ #Moved ptoolcomment from line 944 WJ. 07/15/10
     comment$<------------------------------------------- I actually want this as it helps force the operator to actually read the comment.
     pbld, n$, sopen_prn, *stpgrpname, sclose_prn, e$

You might want to move it above the prior line like this:

psof$...
     pcan
     comment$<---here
     pbld, n$, *t$, sm06, ptoolcomment, e$ #Moved ptoolcomment from line 944 WJ. 07/15/10
     pbld, n$, sopen_prn, *stpgrpname, sclose_prn, e$
...

** At the toolchange block also

ptlchg$...
     comment$<----here
     pbld, n$, *t$, sm06, ptoolcomment, e$ # Moved ptoolcomment from line 1041 WJ. 07/15/10

Both of these should move the comment above the toolchange line. This is nothing but a guess, I dont know what post you have.
