Copying and pasting

Does anyone else have a problem with coping and pasting from one level to another. I Would copy some holes and paste them to another level and the only way they would show up and actually copy is being on the level you want and showing the level you want to paste from. And yes my copy to current level is checked. This worked fine in MX5. I am doing the same exact thing I did with MX5 just not sure if MX6 changed something somewhere.

 

In MX5 I would copy a item and then go to the level I wanted it on and turn all levels off so I can actually see if it copies then hit CTR V to paste, and it would show up

In MX6 it actually moves the items to the current level unless you have both levels on. This is puzzling me. Anyways nice to meet you all this is my first post on the boards.

There's a button in the toolbar that you can click "Set to Main Level" - when you do this it copies over to the main level fine.

 

I always right click on the LEVEL manager button instead of doing copy/Paste, and then chose to move or copy

I always click set to main level. Like I said I did this in X5 just fine its just my X6 isn't doing it correctly.

hrm - try the other way, not saying it as a workaround, but more-so to see if that ALSO does the same. I'm doing what you're doing in X6 MU1 and it works (are you using MU1)?

i just downloaded it and installed it an hour ago, will try in a little to see if that fixed it. thanks for the replies
