SLDPRT/Parasolid Import

Hi there,

 

Just something I haven't noticed before. In X6 MU1 (using Win 7 64bit), when I open either of the above file types, I no longer get the options button to choose wether to open as a solid, or trimmed surfaces, and to include the wireframe.

 

Is this only in 64bit, or is it no longer an option?

Is it just for those couple file types? That would be odd.

I found that on my Win7 x64 box, I don't see the Options button at all when I'm using the "Microsoft Windows Standard" File/Open dialog, but the "Mastercam X Style" dialog works fine.

In case you're not sure what I'm referring to, it can be changed in the Control Panel Applet.

I get the options button for both of those types on Windows 7 64. . I have no idea what Pete's talking about, so that must be what's going on with yours.

W7Pro-64, it happens when you first set it to "All" file types, the options button doesn't show up. If you set it to solidworks sldprt sldasm it will show up.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I changed the dialog to "Mastercam X Style" from "Microsoft Windows Standard", and now I can see the options dialog.
