X6 Lathe groove issue

I'm trying to cut a basic groove in X6 lathe. Its .094 wide and .062 deep. I'm using a .062 wide insert. My problems is on the initial plunge the tool cut in front of the groove. I've tried turning off roughing, using both groove and quick groove but no luck. I switched it over to X5 and it works fine. Is this a setting problem or a bug?

I've had similar issues with rough grooving. Using depth cuts and tool inspection, the tool feeds down to the clearance point of the next depth instead of rapid. I turned in a QC notice, and it was partially fixed in X6. Now, it works if you select the bi-directional cut direction. (And the tool must be able to move)

I use the stock for outer boundry with depth cuts so when the tool positions inside the groove, it will feed over instead of rapid.
