Surface High Speed ( General) not found in the Op Defaults File.

Hello ,

I am trying to import a specific surface high speed operation from a .Operations-6 file

on a Mastercam X6 64 bit version.

and it gives the following error:

"Surface High Speed ( General) not found in the Op Defaults File"

Does anybody know why this error is coming up. ??

I cant see the Surface High Speed General toolpath anywhere in the Surface High Speed operations.

I am in-fact trying to import an operations-6 file that I created in the same X6 software(same PC)

that I created in and exported from .

When I also press on the button "Reload parameters from Defaults file"

Also that time it gives me this error.!

Please see the attached file for seeing the error dialog box.

Does any body know, how I can open up the defaults file and check whats inside it.?

Thanks

Ash

Okay Fixed this.!

Here is how .

1) Select the operation to be exported ( that will be imported later)

2) In the parameters dialog press " Save parameters to the defaults file "

3) Export that operations

4) Now when you import that operation, it will look in to the saved defaults file and

import the exported surface high speed toolpaths with name as "Surface High Speed (general): category.!

This error is common if you migrated between X5 and X6. The reason for the error is because in X5 there was only 1 operation for all the HS toolpaths. In X6 they gave you 1 operation per toolpath. You managed to fix it which is great but if you get the error again my suggstion would be to get a copy of the default X6 operations file and put it on your system.
