Tool Justification

I have an old f agor control on my cnc lathe. Its a toolroom style lathe with a manual style tool post. Opposite a slant bed. In mastercm is there a way to change the tool justification when writing programs ? Its typically shown coming in from the top downwards. I need it mirrored. X4

Yes, there is a way to reset the orientation of the lathe tool. You can do that through the lathe tool manager in the settings drop down. Right click on the tool, select edit, select setup tool then in the upper right corner you can set the tool to the lower turret.

 

You may need to adjust the axis combinations to have the X dia/radius values to come out correct.
