I'm using machine simulation on a 4th axis, and I see that it doesn't actually show the 4th axis rotate into position.i program a part from xform roll geometry and rotary axis control page. axis substitution and substitude x axis . It just jumps from one line to another. Is there any way to see the 4th axis rotate so that I can make sure nothing is colliding? simulation mastercam x6. i can see rotary axis when i program from multiaxis program but i can not see simulation on rotary axis. please send ur idea how to simulation rotary axis program.i attached a file axis subsititution -roll the geometry .mcx

Nope that with those types of toolpaths at moment. You will need to do a curve 5 axis to simulate what you are doing. The simulation is not a true .NC verifaction so some of the things do not come across like you would see with something like Vericut. It si good, but you will need to do a little bit of stuff with the programming ot get it going in the right direction.
