Go to the new folder called EMCX_EDU_Files and find the file that ends with Cadcam. look at the surface Scallop path takes care of your needs and min lifting and dose not roll over edges.

this was the first path I made a few weeks ago and totally got sidetracked into making blend work.(since Ive never used blend and was excited and determined it would work).

On a side note let me ask you another question..

 

scallop toolpath, is there a way to create a entry method? like helix or ramp.. I opti roughed a pocket(3d floor/contour) with .05 stock to leave and .2 stepup.

Between high speed scallop and the finish scallop Ive only seen high speed of some sort of entry method. which is fine for now..

 

The only other way i see is to create a 2d pocket path and project it ..

you can make it ramp would you like me to have it ramp at say 10° on to the surface this how I u sally do it. I was in the middle of programming today and decided to review your part.

I have 1 Horz part to program and to vert part to program tonight.

i will later pull a part were I was talking about what can be done some times with gap setting.
