I'm doing this part, a mouse mold.

 

Somebody could give me a little help?

 

I have to use multiaxis functions at least one time.

Now you say multiaxis do you mean 4 or 5axis paths or do you mean 3d paths that most use for mold making?

I mean 4 or 5 axis. Because I'm machining with a robot and it has 6 degrees of freedom.

 

The point of this work is to use more than the cartesian space to move the tool, so if the 3D solution allow me to do so, its also valid.

So are you using Robotmaster to program with?

is this for a class project?

 

Ok so now what I see is there are not allot of thoughts except maybe using a some swarf and using the floor to control tip for the outside profile. is the transition a sharp it looks like it. So I still see as the intersection still to be EDMed.

I tried to use the swarf, but I dont know which are the wall and first surfaces that I should use.

 

Im using robotmaster, yes, for a school project.

what version of robot master and can you share your file.

I need to get the latest Robotmaster loaded to.

Im sending you the file. I've tried other solutions already.

 

I dont know the version of RobotMaster since it only is installed in my school computer, not in my laptop.

 

But I think the toolpath creation is equal to milling machines, am I right?

Well if this file was the one you made the paths on then this would be RobotMaster X5 as your file is a MCX-5 file.

the creation is somewhat the same except for when picking Robots and tools it is different I can put some paths on this one.

I have X5 standard MC still on a few of my boxs..
