Q. Does anyone have a post for a [insert machine or control name here]?

A. Ask this question as your first message here and you won't necessarily like the responses you receive. Look to your reseller to supply you with the proper post for your machine, or quote for the work that needs to be done.

If you have something and are looking for improvements, it's a reasonable request. Maybe tell us why the post you have needs improvement.

Perhaps try to participate a bit on the Forum before you go asking for something. Not unlike Habitat for Humanity, we value Sweat Equity here. Quid pro quo, Clarice.

You may also want to let everyone know your company name so that your Hotmail or Yahoo email account doesn't give everyone the impression that you aren't a licensed Mastercam user.

Nobody is flaming anybody, I thought the best thing to do was put the FAQ section right here for him to read. I never paid attention to his member number, so I figured reading the FAQ was a good bet.

Now, Rekd makes a valid point. ccaldwell should have know by now this is the wrong way to go.

No flames, there are not needed. To delete the thread would be a mistake. These need to be here to serve as learning for the newer users. If someone new comes in 6 months from now and as the were-with-all to do a search for a post, they might see this thread, then contact there dealer. In affect getting the right answer before stirring the pot.

Paul, I wasn't referring to what you posted; just anticipating the usual 'you are obviously too stupid to read; how can you type?' kind of exchanges that go on in these threads.

Bullines, this seems to be going down the same road as one last week. Maybe Lanny should step up before too many people waste a whole lot oh time...

I'm on board with that Scott. Everybody knows not to request a post on their first visits to the forum. Everybody except n00bs of course. The sky is blue.

Since everyone starts flaming each other when threads like this happen, I'll continue to Flame back. Last night it was Lanny McDonald. Today, it'll be one of Kingston, Ontario's finest:

Doug Gilmour says, "this thread doesnt' have what it takes to survive past the dogdays of February".
