X7 LATHE SIMULATOR ISSUE

During the verify in the simulator for a lathe operation the sim runs good showing the op.s and with the color codes for tool paths and it shows it all in the solid view but when it finishes the screen goes blank and then just shows the outline only. I have run a few different parts and so farthis only shows this item during the lathe verify in the simulator.

Everything else seems to be working ok.

Any Ideas ???

Are you ending with a Lathe Cutoff operation? If you are, that would result in the part being dismissed.

Yes it ends in a part off , but in the previous sims, it would show the part and then stay on the screen so you could review the part in close up and do dimension checks . Is there a way to keep it on the screen after parting off ???

Not just yet. We are going to respect the setting in the Stock Update page in the next release. The only way to keep it would be to transfer the stock to the sub and hold it. (If you had a sub spindle)

Have you tried lathe stock preview? It gives you a model of your part AFTER the op is done. You can send this model to a level and keep it for dimensioning.

Right on. I really like that feature, I use it to make my shop sketches with the solid layout.
