Feeds and speeds for engraving tool in titanium

Recommended Posts

I need to cut a cross hatch pattern that is .200 wide by about 6" long .017" deep with a .125 x 90deg (2 flute .005 tip) AITiN coated engraving tool. I will be plunging off of the part. What should I use for a depth of Cut. According to Harvey Tools site I was going to start with 10,000rpms and 5ipm which is .0003 fpt. Not sure if I should go slow and deeper or faster and lighter. Only have 1 Part to make and have 4 cutters to get thru it. Thanks
