Depth of cut

I'm trying to create this part, and think I have it down mostly, except it's not wanting to take my depth of cut parameters. I don't know if this is because i'm still trying to generate code in wireframe or what, but it seems the tool is staying in the same Z position while it's making the cuts

What kind of tool path are you using?

What have you set your top of stock to? Are you using incremental or absolute? Is the cahin for the pocket at the top of stock? If so then your depth becomes important if at the bottom of your cut then the top of stock becomes important. Each one has their place just comes down to how you apply what you need to them.
