Does Mastercam come preloaded with any generic machine files?

I am talking about preloaded generic machine CAD files to use for verifying. I know WorkNC does.

If you downloaded it, there is a separate download for sample files (@ Mastercam.com), IIRC its an optional install from the DVD too.

Look in your Machine Simulation folder. if you are using X7

Be careful no to overwrite these files because the Machine Simulator depends on these to be the exact name and placement relative to World CS

in order to build the machine in the simulator. All these files are STL files also so you cannot overwrite them as MCX files.
