problems loading mastercam file onto mazak qt 450

I am having a prog loading my completed mastercam program onto my mazak quick turn nexus 450. so far i have saved as a EIA and loaded onto USB. once i get to machine i cannot load. all i get is a 401 alarm that says illigal format. Any suggestions. and i might add i am very new with this software so if you think of anything bring it up please. Thanks in advance.

Did you make sure it actually saved as .eia? Sometimes it'll look like you saved it as .eia, but it's really ".eia.nc", because the .nc is hidden.

 

Also, to load via USB or Ethernet, your file name has to be the program number.

 

1234.eia

 

You also can't have any leading zeros. For example, 52.eia, not 0052.eia

 

The very first line of your file should be:

 

O1234(KWOODYS PROGRAM)

 

 

No percent signs or anything like that.
