deleting geometry

We have version 8.1

When deleting geometry there is a lot of clutter left on the screen, when you repaint

screen it is fine. In version 8.0 we didn't

have to repaint, it deleted the geometry cleanly the first time.Curious as to why.

Sounds like the 'ghosts' are leftovers from previous operations, such as deleting or what have you. My puter would do that as well, but also when I used the right-click menu, and several other things. My solution didn't come 'til I switched to an Oxygen VX1 card.

First thing to try would be downloading the latest video drivers for your machine.

Also, there have been a lot of threads posted pertaining to video problems; do a search for them and read up on it, there may be some insight there.

Firstly You could try reducing the hardware acceleration by:

Control panel - Display - Advanced - Performance,

Shift the hardware acceleration to the left,

to slow it.

Failing that, the Video card.
