Does any one have a post that works on a Hurco VMX42I with the wnimax v9.1 control? I'm not asking for a post just wondering if some is using  1 on that machine? I have a post but we cannot get it to work. any help would be apprecitated.  the problem we are having is with circle milling. it always wants to mill the hoie at  X0 Y0. when you Change the location say by 2 inches in the x it will just mill a 4 inch hole at X0 Y0.

These settings are likely wrong, you might try setting to absolute instead but as you in Canada, have you checked with your reseller, IN House Solutions?

Yes John we have been working with them.but with no luck they want us to check with hurco engineering.

That may be the best way at this point, like IHS, I have also done posts for Hurco's, what you describe is not something that I have ever encountered.

 

Going through them(Hurco), with the serial they can at least have you check the proper control settings to see what is happening, there may be a parameter change needed in the control itself.

We have a new VM10I with the Winmax control on it and it seems to work fine.  We've been running it for about two weeks now and no noticeable problems.  Not sure if the two machines are comparable.
