X6 debugger not working

When I go to the Control Panel and click the applet nothing happens. Tried it on a Windows 8 & Windows 8.1 installed computers (Dell Precision T3400, dual monitors, 4GB RAM) both do not work. When I have the Task Manager up, a "Windows Problem Reporting" background process pops up for a sec then dissappears.

Hum that little of RAM for Window 8? I am surprised it even fires up. I would suspect a issue with that OS since X6 was not complied for that OS. Might get some tricks to work, but I would suspect the lack of Memory and maybe your video card are the issue here.

System ram is 4 GB RAM,  dedicated video ram is 512 MB (total avalable video RAM 2.2GB. I sometimes have X6 running with word & Adobe Photoshop & most of the time X6 with Solidworks I& don't have any problems. Just the control panel applet does not work, even if just X6 is running.
