Verbose in X8 Lathe

Backplot and verify now show spindle speed and feed rate in verbose details which is good. However if surface speed is selected it treats it as RPM and calculates feed accordingly, giving cycle outputs way off. Also feed is displayed in mm per min, would be better feed per rev for lathe. Can I change anything or is that the way it is?

I don't believe you can change it.

 

For me, I find all that information pretty much useless, especially when I use a canned threading cycle and it give me feed in the negative, and cycle time in the negative. That's something I absolutely do not understand.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I do agree with you but I like the verbose info as its a double check on cutting data. Although it does need to be right.

The minus signs on RPM indicate CSS is set. Negative feed rate means the value is IPR, not IPM.

Ok, but what about the cycle time? If I could machine a part in -32 seconds, I'd be rich.
