Current simulation is still discarding!

Good Afternoon All

 

 today i updated to  ( 17.0.17986.0 )  And have had a problem with the Simulation. I select the Simulation start up settings and nothing happens. I then try to open run simulation and i keep on getting an error coming up telling me that the Current Simulation is still Discarding. Ive been away from the PC for an hour or so to start another job and Ive come back to the same thing.

 

Any ideas or help would be appreciated

I only get that message when I close out the simulation session and quickly try to start another. Once I hit OK on the two popup dialogue boxes it becomes available to use again, matter of seconds. Is a dialogue box opening off the screen for some reason? I had that happen to me on another issue. The first place I would check is Nivdia's Nview desktop and find the setting "prevent windows from opening off-screen".

   Thats exactly what i did first. Been caught like that before when i started running duel screens. 

 

The only other time i have ever had this error was as u say, when u try and open another session before the last one has finished closing.

Ive had enough for today so i will tackle it tomorrow and see what i find.
