I hear solidworks isn't as pretty with a gamer card.

IIRC Solidworks requires the Quadro for the fluid dynamics stuff and the fancy shading mode that shows material textures as you work.

IIRC Solidworks requires the Quadro for the fluid dynamics stuff and the fancy shading mode that shows material textures as you work.

Solidworks  require FirePro or Quardo for realview to work which "instant rendering" 

 

There is a hack to get realview to work on AMD Radeon or Geforce card. Fluid Calculations/ Sim work just fine with out  Quardo or Firepro  because I use couple times a week
