Selling MasterCam

My company has one extra seat of MasterCam Level 3 Mill version 7.2b we would like to sell. What are the rules for selling a seat? It was purchased as a second seat with the multiple seat discount. And is there anyone out there who might be interested, or know of anyone who is?

Thank you for your help,

Nick

Technically the software can't be sold because you don't own it. You have only purchased a license to use the software.

CNC Software will provide a statement on this that I will post up here.

Check out the file named mlicense.txt in the main Matercam folder on your computer. The following is a quote from that file. Note the non-transferable license part.

Grant of Software License

CNC Software, Inc. ("CNC") a Connecticut corporation with its

principal place of business at 671 Old Post Rd., Tolland, Connecticut,

06084 hereby grants to you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license

(the "License") to use this software program (the "Program") and any

accompanying documentation (the "Documentation") solely for your

internal business purposes and solely in conjunction with the

accompanying "Security Mechanism, which shall mean any hardware or

software device, method, scheme or other security measure provided by

CNC or CNC's supplier to allow a user to access the Program. (The

Program, which includes updates, if any, and the Documentation are

hereinafter referred to collectively as the "Software".)
