Tool holder assembly

Is there a way to get my tools separated from the assembly files that were created by default when we upgraded to X8. I have over 100 assemblies and want to just have them saved as tools so I can see them on the tools page in the tool manager. I've started creating new tools from scratch but figure there must be an easier way. If anyone can help it's much appreciated..

Have your tried opening 2 Tool Managers and have with a new saved blank one and the one with the assemblies. Then try to copy the tools out of the one with the assemblies and paste them into the blank one.
