Help Editing Predefined Header in Post

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I have a question regarding using an existing post for one of our CNC routers on a new machine that was just installed.  My main interest is changing the predefined header that is created when the NC file is generated.

I have created a new machine definition, control definition and copied/renamed the old post for the new machine.  The header posts out the machine type, which is no longer correct for the new CNC.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I searched the text of the post for the "pheader$" post block and it was not found.  I have searched the post for words that are found in the header, and they're not found either.

This post is not a PST, it is a MCPOST file....not sure it that matters.  I also have a MCBPOST file with the same name that appears to encrypted.

Is it possible that it is pulling the header from the machine or control definition?
