help with FTP site

im using WS-FTP and at one time had no problem going to the site. now it just hangs at the list command. I can accsess other sites with it so I assume its working properly. dont know if its on my end or what. my IE wont touch an FTP site here at work, think its a policy thing. anyone else have this problem or any suggestions on how to fix it

I have had some of the same problems, including Windows messages that the server could not be found. Using IE V6, SP1 I was never able to connect using the link at the top of the eMastercam page. However, using FTP Commander, I am able to consistently connect. The only thing that I found was that IE and some others use passive mode, and FTP Commander has an option to uncheck passive mode (connects in active mode). I am not sure exactly what this does, but it seems to be the problem. If your WS-FTP has a Passive / Active option, make sure Active is selected (Passive is unselected). HTH.

I tried that too, still no luck. Maybe I'll have to try another ftp program.

I get a time out and - retrieve of folder listing failed (0)

Mayday whwen was the last time you were able to get in?

Also I just reset the server please try again.

prolly been a month Jay,somthing on my end I can get on from home but not at work
