Yeah it is.....when the exact code runs on another Haas in the same shop.....

I'm still trying to push the change to AC .....just to see if that helps anything....Haas tech says he can't load the keyseat program into a machine but it loads into this one....something is NOT right with the machine settings 

I have coded it and rechained at least a half-dozen times.....

No oit does not..... but I also have 9 previous paths with DWO set to 0 that run on that machine....

OK, just to clean this one up.......

The post I had worked out was good, for the most part....the noted AC change had to happen but other than adding the G254/G255 output that was it....

The real issue....as noted above the AC configuration HAD to be employed but the Haas techs were on sight with this customer for 2 days......

I guess all the work that goes in with the inital setup, as I thought, was never done......so none of the marcos that need to get populated with the trunion info were working properly...

Once that was done, I changed over to AC output and the program was run with no further issues.

and civicegg, thank you again, that info you posted did help....

Biggest difference I found, don't need to send the machine home between DWO changes...safe retract height and all is good...

Coded as such ran fine

Yes, you don't need to send the machine home between rotations. It is more of a safe guard if the operator does not put the part close to where you have it programmed at. For example if your 5th axis vise gets bolted on the platter edge and not at center. You could have a collision when rotating on a 3+2 move. DWO has to be canceled and reactivated and your clearance height will not be maintained. This is more of an issue with UMC's rather than a vertical with a trunnion with a small platter.
