Anyone out in Colorado..check out the derek trucks band. Derek Trucks is an unbeleivable player. (he is in the Allman Brothers) His band is great.

Butch Trucks was in the Allman Bros band. The other drummer/Perc. was Jai Johnny Johnson. Together they created a syncopated drumming style that was the siginture and backbone of the Allman brothers legendary music. Is Derek possibly his son?

Isn't Goverment Mule a bunch of guys from the A.B. as well? That band comes to the club I work at pretty often, usaully 3/4 of the crowd has mullets or hair down to there arse.

 

But a really jammin band, none the less...

Greg my band toured with Dereks band back when he was still 4 feet tall around the southest. Are you anyway affiliated with them? I have tons of video from the tour and lots of cool pics, and a box of T shirts that ended up in our trailer from way back then. I think he was 13 at the time? He was a great tastful player then and I saw him on TV not too long ago. Great player!
