Well said Andrew, as I have told him,(my son) dont lock yourself into thinking only about atomotive type engineering. I tell him look around,most everything you see and touch, someone has designed it. So find somthing that interest you and look into how it became.

+1000 Andrew I would add that the software is not NEARLY as important as the methodology. Methodology is huge! If you have that wrong, you're hosed from the get-go and usually you have to scrap it and start over.
