.xpx extensions

Good morning.

I have a question for you, Are you able to open up .xpx files in your software. The reason I'm asking is I've received a request for a parasolid of a casting that was modeled in (3) seperate pieces & was put together in an assembly. The .xpx file extension is supposed to be used for assemblies & the .x_t file extension is used for individual parts. There is another option I can use but I thought this might bring in a cleaner part (1 translation instead of 3 different translations for the following method). The other option would be to create an IGES of the assembly (to create a single part) then create an I-Deas of the IGES part then create a Parasolid (.x_t) of the new I-Deas part.

I, for one, have never heard of the .XPX extension. I know for certain it's not a Parasolid format. The .X_T format can support assemblies (i.e. multiple solid bodies) as one as single parts.
