The red point is actually two points separated by the amount shown.

If possible, delete the short segment and trim the arc and remaining line and chaining should work.

Alternately, adjust your chaining tolerance and chain will work.

In Solidworks, you can rename the Planes so that they match Mastercam.

I believe you edit the Default Templates so that you have the correct orientation on start-up

STL files are not solid models.

Your 'circle' consists of a bunch of short, line segments.

Place 3 points around the 'circle' and use those with Circle/Edge Point-3 points command.

From there you can come close

That part, I'm not sure. I do all my drafting in Solidworks.

On the HOME tab

File/Configuration/Files.

There are options to save specific file types in specific locations.

In 2022 BETA, I added the check shown and I think it what you're looking for?

I had a similar issue a couple of releases back. It was tied to using a surface model as stock in an early operation.
