  11. Any one have experience cutting richlite? Wondering about feed rated to cut this stuff.
  12. We use what is called prime preimum plus mdf, we also flycut our table, i usually do this 2 times per side when the sheet is new to remove any glaze and to make sure it is flat. we have a 40 horse pump, I also just purchased some rubber to place on the open parts of the table to be sure i am getting good vacum on the part.
  13. I checked the T/C plane and all of the numbers are set to 0. Could this be some sort of problem with my post?
  14. I just watched that program run with no part on the table, and in sngle block, when it does those two holes that are in line, for the first hole it uses a drill going back on the y-axis, but for the other hole which it 64.5 inches away on the x but has the same y dim, it uses a drill going it the x, but they are not in line with each other, and there is no y axis move to align them, any ideas how to fix this problem???
  15. Well you got the strange thing right, they were taken from the same point, i even looked at the code and the code says it should be at the correct point but its not. I am totally confused by this one.
  16. My block drill did something weird, i had a part that was 65" x 37" with holes set in .25 from the side. When my block drill was done two of the holes were off 2 inches from where they were ment to be, but the counter bores were in the correct location. Any ideas???
  17. For most runs i did i used a lot of Dataflute stuff, but i did like the roughing endmills that Robb Jack made, they were really good in hard steel, I used to do a lot of testing for data flute, especially in aliuminum, they do make a good tool for that.
  18. CADCAM, I just had and email sent to you to show my nesting problem, the file has the parts how i nested them manually, if you can show me how to get the same result with mastercam that would be great.
  19. What is your E-mail address and i would be happy to send it to you as well.
  20. I did send an email to a greg from mastercam this morning whith the file attached. The part is 14.5 X 15 with a large radius on one end, to look at it from far away you would think it was square. I had a piece of material that was 30.375 X 96 inches long. I used a .5 inch tool to cut it. Mastercam Nesting would not put 2 rows of parts just one, with mastercam i got 6 parts off the sheet and when i did it i got 12 off the same size sheet. I could email you the file if you would like.
  21. Give Data Flute a try, they make really good cutting tools and are very good at helping you out. www.dataflute.com
  22. The part i was nesting didn't really need too much "fuzzy magic", it was a simple square part, i would think the program is powerfull enough to do a simple square part. Where can i get Nestor?
  23. Why does nesting in mastercam not always do the best thing with nested parts? I find myself doing a better job nesting the parts than mastercam does.
