  1. Called CNC Software about it. Confirmed bug.
  2. Thad, Yes (1st operation only). Same as it always was in MR1, but in MR2, it doesn't prompt me any more.
  3. It no longer prompts me for the NC filename either, since installing MR2. No matter whether I have "use last NC file name" checked or not.
  4. Ever since I updated to MR1, SP1, when I bring a tool into a file from the library, then modify it, then save it to the library (with the intention of updating it), I no longer get asked whether I want to "append or overwrite". It appears to be just adding that tool to the existing library, rather than giving me the option to overwrite the tool that I just modified. Is there a way to get the option back?
  5. Seems like a better way to do it, unless you work on a file for a really long time and forget to save it. It would be nice if it reminded you to save every so often, then gave you the option. Thanks for the tip.
  6. Wouldn't I have to peridically purge the backup files from this directory?
  7. I am fairly new to X2 and am noticing a problem with the Autosave function. In v9.1, the working file was always autosaved to the mcam9millmc9 folder, no matter what. In X2, the Autosave file gets saved in the folder in which I got the file in the first place. In my case, I usually start with SolidWorks files, which are retreived from my SolidWorks data folder, then I save the resulting MCX file into my MCX data folder. The autosave file gets saved in the SolidWorks data folder, where I originally got the file. I would like to choose a folder for the autosave file that is always the same (or desktop). Anyone know how to do this?
  8. Just now got X2 (level 1) installed. Been running v9.1 previously. (yeah, I know, what too you so long?) I typically open SolidWorks files and work with their existing geometry. In v9.1, I ran a C-hook called "sortiges", which separated the entity types onto different layers so you could turn off the surfaces and see only lines (green) and arcs (lt. blue). This made entity visibility easy on a black background. I dont see this c-hook in X2, so is there an easy way to do the same type of thing? SolidWorks entities come in all white. Not too easy to see on the light blue background. Tried changing background to black, better, but but still need an easy way to sort out the surfaces and leave just lines and arcs and change their color. Used Quickmask to select all surfaces, lines, arcs, and change their colors in the "attributes", but there has to be a faster way to do this. Any ideas?
