I am trying to download from my computer to a Mazak M32 controller at a 19200 baud rate. We have changed from the old RS-232 cable to fiber optics to download at this faster speed. Now my tech is telling me that a M32 controller can only read at 4800. Is this for real?? Has anyone had success downloading faster then this on a M32? Need help!!

Has anyone had good luck drip feeding to a Mazak M-32? We are using Mastercam 9.1 with Cimco 4.32 editor.

Our shop is using Mastercam 9.1 with the Cimco editor on our newer machines. We have a few older Mazak M-32's that we would like to run with Mastercam but the memory is not there to download the 3-d operations. Is drip feeding these machines an option? Can we drip feed with the Cimco 4.32 that we currently use?

The shop that I am working in currently takes our V5 models and converts them to V4. Then we load them into MasterCam as a parasolid. This seems backwards to me. What can we gain be loading these directly into MasterCam as V5 models?
