Anyone else having problems while running two windows of x at the same time??? Havent found a pattern yet, but I have had it "dirty" my file while working on another. Also for those using the x+ setup sheet I have seen it apply the wrong screen shot while making the setup sheet if you also having more than one session of X running. Havent found what makes it do it though???

Feed rate seems a little slow... whats your max rpm of your machine. I just ran the numbers and with a single lip carbide tip gundrill rpm is around 14,400 and the feed 2.8 imp. Thats at the low end.

You might want to do a search on x+ its a great setup sheet and its fast!!! And best of all it free, hope this is what your after.

Is anyone else having issues with a project blend toolpath not posting the tools on the x+ setup sheet??? "shows depth but no tool data??"

are you simulating tool or using turbo function??? turbo verify seems to show you a better result of what youll see at the machine. "Also make sure quality setting is turned all the way up" hope that helps....

another way is to select all operations you want to have the same nc name for, then right click.... edit selected operations....change nc file name....then enter what you want. Hope this helps -

Günther, Thank You for looking into that...What we have been doing is just slapping some dims on the part so when you make the setup sheet its there in the picture for the operator to look at. Thanks!!! -

Is there any way to change the output of the setup sheet so when you have a program thats doing multiple operations with the same tool, it doesnt show on the sheet, the same tool over and over... Just show the tool once and then the min/max z for all operations combined... " Thanks for any help on this issue.." -
Tim You might want to do a search on "allocation settings"...its been a hot topic here before, also is your computer just slow or does it give you the famous "mc has encountered an error and has to shut down........." hope your able to find what you need

Any one see this one yet. After clicking icon on desktop to fire "X" this pops up saying... The procedure entry point?m_comm@@3Ucommunication_ctrl@@A could not be located in the dynamic link library MCControl.dll ...even reinstalled same result not sure whats going on. Thanks Guys

If your using Fire Fox it may not link up the way it should....try Internet Explorer Hope this helps....

As far as finding a system thats is an all around winner I would suggest OSG shrink fit, for high speed roughing and semi fin passes and hydralic holders for finishing "great finish" but shrink fit does a great job too if you need the length... Have a good day Thanks...
